We created these beautiful buttercream cakes for a wedding at Wine and Roses in Lodi this past weekend. The cakes are decorated with buttercream rosettes with pearl centers, hand rolled fondant pearls, hand piped lace, and pearl trim. A couple of the cakes were embellished with open rose sugar flowers. We set up the cakes in a symetrical layout and used a mix of white and pink milk glass cake stands.
|The centerpience of the display was this 4 tier buttercream cake which has mulitple textures such as a smooth finish, piped rosettes, piped lace, fondant pearls and a dusty pink open sugar rose.|
|This is one of the 2 tier cakes that were on each side of the center cake. The rosettes are on the top tier this time and it better shows the hand rolled fondant pearls.|
